I'm a visual artist living in Olympia, Washington where the arts enjoy an exceptionally supportive community. I have a background in writing, as well as in art history and the visual arts. My chosen medium is watercolor. I developed a visual arts background over the years in courses at universities and colleges, and more recently in artist's workshops. My plan is to study color and add pigment to paper 'til the end of my days with the hope, and expectation, that I will never be wholly satisfied I have "gotten it." Susan Hirst |
